I hope there's a fix. It bugs me to see inaccuracies in the sales report, so much so, that I might wipe everything out and start fresh, which wouldn't make my heart glad at all.

Unfortunately no. Inventoria is not a sales base program. Its just to keep the Inventory organize and better managed it does have the option to do some sales but is not made for that purpose.
If you want a sales base program which is able to communicate with Inventoria I recommend you Express Invoice. You can see more information on the software website.
