Combining

Is it possible to make edit multiple files of the same audio and combine them to amplify certain audio layers and reduce certain audio layers.

Hi laydon,

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. Would it be possible for you to explain a bit more about what you are doing? Certainly in MixPad you can create multiple copies of the same audio, edit them in different ways and then recombine them.

This is the link of the audio I'm listening to. http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=16017 I want to listen to the background noise of the two women fighting each other, not the background music or the foreground Dialogue playing at the same time. I know that I can't unmix the audio in Mixpad. But I was wondering if I could use VLC to save multiple audio files of the same file with different EQ frequency bands on them like Bass, Tremble, etc. and mix them to get the audio that I want to hear.

Yes, you can do that in MixPad. If you like you can perform the frequency banding directly in MixPad too.
