After capture, closing the selection rectangle for setting up the next capture

After I record a capture I can' t find away to close the selection windows to prepare for the next capture. A lot of time gets wasted repeatedly re-closing, reopening resetting Debut and the source webpage back to before the capture.. Does debut have a command to close the selection box and return itself to the beginning to quickly setup for another capture? Thanks

Yes, it is selected when capturing. After capturing the window remains on obstructing the non recorded view of the video stream.

De-select "Show selection rectangle while recording". When you stop recording and want to record a different area, click the dotted rectangle ("Select a desktop rectangle..." pops up when you hover your mouse over it) and the previously selected area will show up again on the screen and you can stretch/shrink/move it for your new requirement.

I made the mistake of leaving the rectangle showing when I was also recording another area of the screen with different software, and my precious "other recording" was very dim.
