.mp4 to .vpj conversion

I want to take a video which is in .mp4 and convert it to .vpj so I can manipulate it in VideoPad. Is there any way to do that in VideoPad software?

The VPJ file is not video/audio media. It's an instruction file that tells the program where to locate resources.

To convert your mp4, import it into Videopad (add file). Edit. Then export the project to any available format.

Thank you for your response. I thought this should be a fairly straightforward exercise, and thus it proved to be. I guess I just had not waited long enough. Sorry for the bother.
