How to insert pause in TTS

So i just discovered that i can use wavepad and TTS to get the robotic sound for my indiegame, but does anyone know how to get the TTS to pause? Say inbetween patagraphs.

Hi Jeffige,

The only way to do this is by inserting silence into the synthesized clip. You can do this from the menu by clicking Edit -> Insert Silence
