Amplify

I just activated my copy of Wavepad. I am trying to increase the volume of a recording. I open the recording, hit ctrl a to select all and select amplify 150% and it shows a progress bar completing but the volume is unaffected.

Hi mikelchap,

I'm unable to think of any reason why the Amplify process would not work. Is the recording especially quiet? If so, 150% might not make much visual or audible difference and you may need to boost it by a larger amount. What kind of decibel level is the recording reaching when you play it (see the decibel meter in the bottom right hand corner of the main window).
