Ok...been patient...CALLURL is not responding so....
Windows XP
Pentium IV - Desktop System on Network (This is where Telephony Board is installed)
Server - Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Months Ago...when I was still excited about this...
Purchased IVM and VRS Software - and - recommended CALLURL 2lv board - lots of $$.
Installed Telephony Board (2LV) - Crashed System
Unistalled / Re-installed Board and Software
I'll spare you the cursing and hours upon hours and now months of "self-assisting" detail....
Problem I need to amend...any advice would be appreciated:
CANNOT ALLOCATE CHANNELS!
I have read the CALLURL tech support info...emailed them several times (no response) and I am confused...
Yes...other TAPI software is on my system - this is probably the problem...microsoft...CALLURL's tech info said to uninstall these programs because they might be conflicting...ok...however, I am not so sure that I want to do that - items like my Remote Service Provider should probably not be messed with.....here is what is there that MIGHT be using my channels:
Microsoft H.323 Telephony Service Provider
Microsoft HID Phone TSP
Microsoft Multicast Conference TAPI Service Provider
Microsoft Windows Remote Service Provider
NDIS Proxy TAPI Service Provider
Talk Voice TAPI Service Provider
TAPI Kernal Mode Service Provider
Unimodem 5 Service Provider
My other concern is that the telephony plug-in is installed on the server for the network....but, are there permissions or configurations I need to check in order to FIND THE 'BLINKIN' CHANNELS TO USE THE 'BLINKIN' SYSTEMS I PURCHASED?
Someone please help...I am certain that with a HUMAN on the PHONE at CALLURL this could be addressed in a 5 minute phone call...however...that is not an option.
Thanks - any assistance would be greatly appreciated....
Steve
