Removing red recording indicator icon

When I start recording video from my webcam, a red recording indicator flashes on the debut icon. Is there a way to delete or eliminate this indicator? I'm using this as a nanny cam and don't want the person to know she is being recorded. I tried changing icons but the red dot still appears flashing when i record.

Hi, if you mean to hide the recording red dot in the toolbar, no currently there is no way to remove it, the best way to hide it is to minimize it to tray, to do this you must go to Option -> Record -> Screen Capture and select Minimize Debut window before starting screen capture AND Minimize to tray. Note that in the tray will be still visible the red Debut icon when recording.
