NCH Sound Library

I am new to VP 4.21 and I am trying to just download from the NCH Sound Library. I hit the download button and the audio file (wmv) appears in the list and I drag it to the audio track as the tutorial instructed. When I try to preview the clip the video is fine but no sound. Check volume levels and such. Being new I'm sure I'm doing something stupid.

The files that I tested from the NCH Sound Library were .wav format, and played fine with the library's preview function.

After download they appeared under the Videopad AUDIO tab (media area) and could be added to the time line.

Is your PC volume muted or turned down? Can other sounds be heard when added to the same track? If you double-click the file, and a big audio preview window opens, do they play there?
