Reversing an opening balance

I am showing an opening balance on one of my accounts that I am unable to reverse as it is in the background. HELP!!!

go to the chart of accounts>double click on the account where you have the opening balance and chage it to zero in the properties box....easy!

I have the same problem. The solution above doesn't work. The system simply doesn't allow me to change the opening balance.
