convert to audio file

I have mp3 files that I want to convert to play on a regular cd player. Is there any way I can do this? What is the appropriate file format to convert to?

I haven't actually done this myself, as I have no need to at this moment in time, but I would suspect that, using Switch or another program, converting your mp3s to .wav format might solve your problem.

Many burning programs will often then change this to .cda format for writing to a CD. Hope this helps.
