Every now and then videopad crashes, mainly when placing new clips on the track.
Not so nice, but usually not a big deal because I frequently hit ctrl-s and additionally videopad does an excellent job with the auto-save so basically no work is lost.
However I have noticed that after such a crash sometimes the saved project can be loaded very fast and sometimes videopad re-reads all the clips from scratch which then takes 15-20 minutes (yes, it is quite a number of single clips, going to be a large project).
Why is that? How does videopad cache the clips, is there any setting or choice to make sure he doesnt have to reload all of them from scratch?
