Ipad version 'x' at bottom of file list screen

At the bottom right of the file list main screen, just above the toolbar, is a button marked 'X'. When pressed I am asked to log into ITunes. I can find no reference to this button in the help section. Can anybody please explain what it does and why it should request a log in to ITunes?

Hi Chris,

It sounds like you have the free version of WavePad for iOS, which displays ads at the bottom of the screen. I think the 'X' button is to get rid of the ads, which you would do by purchasing the full version of WavePad for iOS. My guess is that after you logged into iTunes you would be taken to the purchase page.
