I used the freeware software of Express Scribe, and I thought it was going to make my job a little easier for me cause the software specified that you can actually change the speed of the file that you are using without altering the pitch of that file, and i tried it, it did change the speed, it also changed the pitch of the file making it distorted and not audible for me to transcribe, can anyone tell me if that feature varies from PCI sound cards, or maybe the type of file that i can use to enable that feature...?
