I opened an mp4 video in video pad and all that opens is the music part of the video. I have changed the format to several different formats and still nothing. The video wil play just fine on my desk top in auy format but not in video pad.

Two thoughts...

Check the video card manufacturer for an updated video driver. If problems arise after installing it, roll back via Control Panel|DEVICE MANAGER|VIDEO ADAPTER|<your card>|DRIVERS tab.

Put ths Mp4 up on a server, with a link here, so others can test it.

OK I uninstalled the program and then re-installed it back into the pc and everything works great now. Thanks for your help
