I have used other media software and one's such as Audacity has an invert option in effects which is perfect for focussing on the background or foreground noise, and gives a vast control over the audio, I have also found that when I Amplify in your version I get waaaay too much garbage in the sound that then using clean up really only creates a horrid space sound.
If there's a way to invert the audio please let me know I'm still quite new to this particular product from NCH.
But getting very annoyed with the number of crashes in the other program from you re: VideoPad it's ridiculous
