Question about features

I have a need to adjust the speed of a recording. The source tape was recorded somewhere between 1/2 speed and normal on the tape recorder. When converting the tape to a .wav file, I need to be able to adjust (correct) the speed of the recording to obtain the proper sound tone for voice. Without this feature, creating a .WAV file at 1/2 speed on the tape recorder is much too slow and the .WAV file at normal speed on the tape recorder makes the .WAV file sound like Donald Duck. Does your software have a "speed" control feature?

I'd like to add to my original post to make my request a little clearer (I hope).

I would like to be able to control or adjust the recording spead of the .wav file on my computer to compensate for the inability to control the speed of my tape playback machine. There apparently is a missmatch between the speed of the original tape recorder and the tape machine I am currently using for playback.

Hi, you may want to try the options Effects-> Constant Pitch Speed Change or Simple Speed and Pitch Change
