Need Some Help (Scrolling Text Attribute)

I am running Windows 8

I am using VideoPad Video Editior Version 3.12

I do not want to download an older version

My problem is that, when I add a text clip to my video. the text shows up. but when i switch the attribute from "none" to "bottom-top" or any other variation other then "none" the text disappears and is just a blank screen. Why is this doing this I need some help.

BETA (test) software is often more problematic than the latest stable release.

If you don't want to run an "older" VP version, perhaps you will be open to a more recent release, 3.14, though it may have the same or more glitches than the one you are using.

What i don't understand is why is it always a response of downloading something, why can no one assist with the issue, is no one else having the problem or does no one know how to fix it

I personally think this is a bug.

With scrolling set to NONE the text appears in all the thumbnails (but obviously doesn't scroll) but with the other settings the text in all the thumbnails and the preview screens disappears (just leaves a chequered rectangle) and it doesn't appear when the clips are played.
