Scanning Available Drives

When I try and save my video (version 3.12), all it says is "Scanning Available Drives." It wont say anything else. I'm trying to do something for school, and this is really irritating me.

The green line has gone through the entire sequence, so it doesn't have to load or anything, so I don't see what's wrong with it.

If the system hasn't crashed and the blue check bar is still moving, I would be patient. Normally this window only shows for a second or two.

However, I have had it linger for longer. Are you certain that ALL the rendering on the timeline has finished, as if the soundtrack has still to show up, "Scanning available drives" may take longer.
