Does Copper really have web access?

I see that Copper can be set up with web access locally and publically, but I'm unable to do so on port 1096. Is this the default port or is there another to try? I've completely disabled my Windows Firewall and I'm pretty sure my brand new router is a UPnP NAT. What am I doing wrong?

I think Web access in Copper is only for synchronizing data with Inventoria (or another installation of Copper) as described in Options->Sync Apps tab.

Thanks! That makes sense. It would be nice if there was a cloud interface to Copper like there is for Inventoria. Then we'd have an online and offline POS solution. I have a brick and mortar store but also sell at markets and fairs. For now, I'll use Inventoria in the field to create my sales.

Wait, then why would there be separate "Web Access" and "Sync Apps" tabs? Wouldn't "Web Access" lead you to believe it's just that? Web Access? Sync Apps uses the Inventoria IP address and port, not the 1096 port that is reserved for Copper. I need someone from NCH tech team to clarify.
