copying tracks to another project

I have completed a project with several tracks which tooks quite abit of editing the clips. I am now working on a second problject and I would like to copy one track from project1 to another in project 2. Any way to do it other then exporting the track to a file and importing the file in project2?

Doesn't seem so. When EDIT|COPY/PASTE is attempted between projects here (open new, then PASTE) the program crashes (Win 7) with an "abnormal exception."

You can, however, use the CLIP menu to insert clips from another project, but that doesn't appear to be what you desire.
