PCM to mp3 !??!

Please help me..

I'm ripping my own show reel from dvd. I get the audio separately in a file ending with .PCM I want to import it to my AVID and therefor I have to convert it to mp3 but it doesn't work.. I might ad that I'm ripping it in my mac and then burn the files to cd and copying it to the PC.

try renaming the extension to .raw and load it again in switch. When you go to convert it and it prompts you for format settings, select the 16bit PCM LE format, and then whatever sample rate and number of channels the audio file is (probably 44100Hz sample rate, and 2 channels).
