How Do I Stream Video Files

MoMoretta

I am playing MPG (movie clip) Video files from an automation player on my PC and would like to stream those files LIVE. I am using Broadcam Video Streaming Server with a Dazzle DVC 100 Video Capture Card and a Realtek AC97 Audio Card My stream is configured for ASF and my public link works perfectly. It opens Windows Media Players... However, I hear audio but DO NOT SEE VIDEO ! What am I missing ? Does Broadcam only stream LIVE video camera feeds or can it stream VIDEO FILES ?

It can stream video files but I'm not sure what you're asking. I have tried streaming video files as they are being created but I've had not success at all.

I understand your question, I think....

Your should look at Item No. 4., in my reply to another post from someone else. The link directly to my reply is:

This will solve your problem/request.

Personally, I don't care for the ".asf" format, preferring Flash for streaming (see my profile for why). But with either format the above link will solve your issue.
