scribe has no sound after 5-6 minutes wav files

I download wave files from an ftp site and had no trouble at all and turned on my computer today to work and scribe only plays 5 minutes of file and then has no sound but counter keeps ticking away. Have tried shutting down, reinstalling scribe and connecting and disconnecting my pedal nothing works, no sound with either pedal or keyboard controls. Help, I can't work. I had to take today off to try to fix this. Can anybody help me please?

Do you still have the original file? Does it play to the end in Windows Media Player?
