I recently moved Express Scribe from my Windows PC to my Power PC Mac G5 OS X 10.5.8 (pre Intel). I downloaded and installed the Mac version of the Mac.
On the PC, the keyboard shortcut defaults all worked fine, and they are all F keys. On the Mac, there are no defaults. When I try to program "hot keys", the F keys are not recognized. When I try to use other keys, they are removed from normal operation. In other works if I make the letter "F" for fast playback, then F no longer works on the keyboard. Same using the space bar for "play". The spacebar only plays Express Scribe, even if that is not the active window.
I am using the 5.02 Power PC free download.
