Error - Video Frame Index Generation Failed

Every time I try to open a video file, no matter what kind (.mov, .wmv) I get this message "Error - Video Frame index generation failed could not open video file". I've tried the other fix in the archive section with giving permission to my shared folder and that hasn't done it.

Any suggestions?

Same issue here -- ".mov" files will not load. I can convert to audio only and it works.

Mac running latest Snow Leopard.

Has anyone solved this ?? It's driving me crazy ! I can't open any .mov witout having that error message...
