DSS File Duration

Hi,

I am having problem with DSS file duration that it is shown in the system it is 8 min and 40 sec but when I download the file to my PC and load it to Express Scribe it shows 6 minute. Please advice as to what may cause this problem? I have downloaded it many times, even to different locations in my PC, but problem remains the same. I have also tried to convert its format through Switch but no avail. I would be grateful if you could provide any suggestions which could help in the resolution of this problem.

Are you able to share the problem file with us? In Express Scribe, click Help -> "Send Bug Report", describe the problem, tick the box that says "I can provide an example file", then follow the instructions for uploading the file.
