debut not working

I just got a new hard drive and downloaded debut and it's not picking up on the camera image or if it does it's just small flashes. I've used debut for a couple years now and never had problems (except occasionally not finding my cam). This is a first. I uninstalled and reinstalled and have rebooted the computer and it's still not working. I changed cams and same.

Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it?

Hi,

Please update the drivers for the capture device and try again.

If it still fails try using vlc media player to see if you can get output from the capture device to test if its a driver realted problem or a debut problem.
