Hi Mark,
When IVM emails a message it always includes some information other than the actual audio in the text of the email. By default this will follow the format:
Subject:
IVM Message Mailbox: %mailboxname% CID: %cid% %callername%
Body:
Attached is a message received in your voice mailbox by the IVM Telephone Attendant.
Date: %date%
Time: %time%
CID: %cid%
Caller: %callername%
Mailbox: %mailboxname%
Open the attachment to listen to the recording.
Items between %%s represent variables based on the message, so %mailboxname% would be replaced with the actual mailbox name. If you have changed your default email template to no longer include these variables I would recommend adding %mailboxname% back in at a minimum so you can see that information before listening to a message.
Regards,
Jason T.
