new user- wrong modem?

Hi all,

new user here . The program says I have no modem but I have a mentor 56k installed. It works fine with mighty fax. I am in UK ,

Any ideas please?

Go to your modem driver settings (device manger->modems->click twice on yours) , and in "diagnostics" (or something like that) tab press on Query

Look at this list, if AT#CLS=? gives you any number or anything but "not supported" you are OK, if not, replace the modem with a voice modem.

The command AT#CLS= is for a specific chipset of modem.

The main other command is

AT+FCLASS=
