I previously had a pocket dictaphone that had a ferature I like better then Palm dictate: There was a mode where whenever you started recording, it inserted a new "note". For hopw I use it, this works better, as each "note" becomes a verbal equivalent of a Palm "task" or "memo" , which is how I use the system, recording when I can not stop and write.

Hi, how does this differ to creating a new dictation each time?

Or do you want it to automatically create a new dictation every time you start recording?
